SaaS app redesign for an AI-powered business planning tool
Upmetrics is AI-powered business planning software that helps entrepreneurs turn their business idea into an actionable business plan.
Our goal was to redesign the UI/UX to reduce complexity, improve clarity, and make the product easier to use for first-time users as well as growing teams. We focused on simplifying onboarding, improving navigation across core tools, and creating a more intuitive experience across planning, forecasting, and research workflows.

Simplified User Experience
We redesigned the home experience to surface the four most important features upfront, helping users get started faster and access critical tools and settings without confusion.
Optimized Widgets
We used customizable widgets to simplify charts, financial data, and expandable cards, making key information easier to access.
Intuitive Design
During the design process, we focused on reducing cognitive load. Helpful micro-copy, clearer labels, and predictable interactions guide users through each step of the process.

Unique Brand Assets
To strengthen Upmetrics’ brand identity, we designed a custom set of illustrations and icons tailored specifically to the product.
AI Business Consultant
The Business Consultant feature was designed to feel like a natural extension of the planning workflow.
Instead of interrupting users, guidance is offered contextually, right where decisions are being made. Sample questions and clear prompts help users refine their plans without feeling lost or overwhelmed.
Market Research Experience
We redesigned this section to clearly separate benchmarks, forecasts, and actual data. Each insight is grouped logically, making it easier for users to understand how their business compares to industry standards and where improvements are needed.
